Asda half price Chicken

Asda have large chickens rolled back to 1.50/killo. My local Telford store are being very sneaky with this The rolled back ones are behind the full price ones. You have to bend down and peer at the back to find them. I really enjoyed myself rearranging the shelf and moving all the cheaper ones to the front. and the full price ones to the back.

Or, more realistically, they are putting the ones with a longer use by date at the back, so that the shorter life ones sell first...it's basic stock rotation.

I thought so too at first but checked the dates. the only difference was the half price offer.

Went in to Asda in Southampton and there was no £1.50 per k/g chickens just some chickens that were 2 for £7 or £1.99 per k/g smart price chicken....?
  • Thanks for that tip, popped in last night and got the last one on the shelf, think everyone must have read your tip!
