Most schools sell revision guides for £2 - £3. These tend to be well under RRP, with the schools making no profit.
However, it requires your son / daughter actually passing on messages from school for you to know about it, which is generally unlikely.
Depending on the school, you can usually get them for SATs, GCSEs and A-levels.
Ask your child about it, and see if you get anything more than a grunt in return!0
