I remember posting about an OPI nail set from an offer I saw in a mag I subscribed to. It wasn't woman & home, perhaps InStyle?

I did the WH Smiths one using my debit card - no problems. Just use the long number on the front and then can cancel it with the bank anyway. Or am I missing something?

Babble & abomb1969 (in particular and everyone else in general).

    BE VERY CAREFUL here.
What I THINK you are talking about here is continuous card authority and not direct debit.
One big different is that you can cancel a direct debit unilaterally but you CAN'T cancel a continuous card authority yourself (I haven't heard about these on debit cards before but I guess it could be the same as credit cards).

You HAVE to go to the retailer to cancel and GUESS WHAT, sometimes it doesn't run smoothly and it's difficult to get them cancelled (closing the card won't help either).
Whether this is incompetance or deliberate I wouldn't like to speculate but you are certainly NOT in control.

I would advise against continous card authority because of the difficulty some people have had in cancelling.
With direct debit you are very safe.

Received my Wahl straighteners from the Top Sante subscription today and I only signed up at the beginning of last week so most impressed. Also received my two free cross stitch kits from the Cross Stitch Crazy subscription which I also only signed up to last week so my daughter will be delighted.

Hope mine turns up soon, seems like I been waiting ages for this one. Is anyone else waiting like me or just recently received their goodies?

I'm still waiting for mine. I've had at least 3 mags - which are rubish imo - all ads.
