When I first saw the nuts offer I thought it was too good to be true. I rang them up on 0845 676 7778 ( quoting code 223J) and the sales person said they would not ask for it back, the 12 month term applied if you continued beyond the 5 issues, if you cancelled before it wouldn't apply.

In the latest issue of Love It magazine, there's this offer:

Now, this is interesting... You have to set up a Direct Debit (which you can cancel at any time), so it sort of works like a subscription, but it's not, as you have to get the mag yourself. Wonder what the vouchers will be like: whether they'll be 000 barcoded "Free Love It" or 60p off generic ones (hope so!)

Anyhoo, £4.95 seems like a good deal just for the Cutex gift set! There's 8 items in it, and there is a pic in the magazine.

To apply, phone 020 7740 0215 quoting 'libooklet31', or fill in the form on p.59 of the current magazine. (which is 30p and contains 60p's worth of money-off vouchers).

I signed up to a trial of 'The Week' magazine last week when the sales rep phoned - caught off guard, grrr! I thought it was a good deal at the time - 6 issues for a quid!

However, I have just noticed that Dennis Publishing have the same trial on Quidco - only difference is that the 6 issues are free and Quidco pay you £4 for signing up!! :money:

Remember to cancel your direct debit after the 4th week if you don't wish to continue the subscription :cool:

Am new to magaxine subsriptions, just wanted to ask if anyone has every been asked by the company for the free gift back, after they cancelled the direct debit?

I wanna take advantage of the free gift offers, but am afraid the company will ask for the gift back

Only once!
I did a subscription of a music magazine through Dennis publishing and the woman on the customer services told me that she wouldn’t cancel my subscription until I had returned the free cd and cd case. I hadnt even recieved it at this point but she said as it was being dispatched ( I would receive it in 10 days!) that I would have to wait for its arrival and then post it back!!! I did do that but can tell you that I never took out a subscription with them again!!

I don't think I have ever cancelled the magazine with the company- just cancel the DD

I dont think I've ever seen a free gift offered on condition you keep the subscription. I dont think they would sell many subs that way plus once you subscribe some of the mags dont send out any of the freebies that you get when buying from a shop.
