When you cancel direct debit, do you have to write to the magazine to tell them you are cancelling the direct debit?

Fortean TImes code still not being accepted - tried PO608 and P0608 (first O as an alpha and as a number just to double check I was reading it correctly) but still not accepted.:rolleyes:
Maybe it will take a couple of days for their web page to catch up with their publicity dept

No you just need to cancel via your bank.

this forum is fantastic, just signed up for 3 copies of Inside Out for £1, 3 copies of Home & Garden for £1 and 3 copies of Gardeners World for £3! This is about what I spend on mags each week....... just got to remember to cancel the D/Debits

I have taken this one out and received confirmation in the post today.

I am sorely tempted to remove the direct debit though as it says £1 to be debited on the 25th of July and the full subscription to be debited on the 26th of July!!!

i've only just signed up with quidco and took out 2 of the £1 subscriptions a few days before this
could've earned £4.80 for each of those if i'd have realised how good quidco is before!
