Do these £1 for 3 magazines really work? I mean is it easy to get the 3 issues then cancel and not get charged for further issues? I'm really tempted my a gardening world and fortean times subscription but don't really want to pay full price.

Yes, yes, yes. They're under the direct debit guarantee. You just cancel (easy if you have online banking).

Some of the offers you can access via Quidco and Magazine Group thus picking up £4.80 too.

Hi, I am newbie to this! Apologises if I appear dim this am, but I went onto the elle link and the following came up:

6 Months Direct Debit @ £16.83 + FREE Benefit Realness of Concealness Make-up Palette, First 6 issues @ £6.00

I would be very grateful if anyone can claify before i continue subscription, whether I'll pay £6 or £16.83?
