Woman & Home magazine:
£13.98 for 6 months plus a yummy-looking Lindt chocolate gift set worth over £50. www.giftmags.co.uk/WHOMEGIFT or call 0845 676 7778 quote code SAX7
I subscribed to this one on the 19-11 (too good to pass) and it was really fast, I got the letter from ipc confirming the subcription today. However it says "Woman and Home for 12 issues at £27.96. (...) Payable by 6 months direct debit".
I don't remember a mention of 12 months contract and going over the subs process there is none. Also in the FAQs it says:
18. How do I cancel my subscription?
You may cancel your subscription contract at any time during the subscription by notifying our customer services team in writing, see contact details below. We will refund you the cost of the issues not yet issued to you at the time you notify us of your wish to cancel – guaranteed!
So I assume I can cancel after 6 months, right? Anyone can help with this?0 -

don't all the IPC non £1 offers quote the full term price in the letter, I have subscribed to the offers where they send 6 free issues before payment and these just quote the full amount payable after the trial and don't mention the free trial but you can work it out from the start issue date and direct debit date
the 3 for £1 offer letters state
Country Homes & Interiors for 3 issues at £1.00
"as instructed we are processing your direct debit authorisation and will be requesting the first payment of £1 on XX/XX/XXXX
Thereafter , payment will be collected on a 3 monthly basis any your first payment of £8.85 will be collected on XX/XX/XXXX
these seem to mention first payment twice , first token payment and first real payment
the 6 free issues don't state Amateur Photographer for 6 issues at £0.00
I only do the cheap subs though and don't bother with the gifts0 -
EVE with free coffee machine
I remember someone posted this in this forum, but I can't seem to find it. I then mentioned I believed it had a 12 months minimum, and someone else said they could not see it. I just checked, it does say in the terms and conditions on page 175 minimum subsc term of 12 months.
Correction: it was not posted in this forum but in the vouchers forum. Here are the posts in case someone is interested and missed the original one. However I reiterate it does mention in the terms and conditions 12 months. Nice offer even for the 12 month price.rosieprimrose wrote: »eve January £3.30
Received my subscribers issue today.
Insert with subscription offer - £29.60 (12 months I assume) and a gift of an Urban Decay eyeshadow in purple or bronze; also 15% off at adili.com.
(...)
p175 - subscription offer - £17.80 for 6 months - free gift of a nescafe/krups Dolce Gusto coffee machine worth £89.99 for first 200 subscribers - seems amazing if you want one of these!! Call 0870 444 7030.

I couldn't actually see where it says 12 months minimum subscription although with an offer like this it could well be the case - it says £17.80 for 6 months if you pay by direct debit and further down the page it says £35.60 for 12 months if you pay by cheque/ credit card so that may be the catch. It is of course easy enough to cancel the d/d after 6 months.0 -

If you're a student (or your kid), there is a 50% discount (you have to include proof). I saw it yesterday in a special edition thay had for free at the careers centre at university. Sorry I did not make a note of the terms (only now browsing through this forum did I see it), but you might be able to contact the subs centre directly and ask for the student discount.0 -
