Before that they were Meningitis Direct, so still not all that useful...
Or appendicitis. They sent me to the local out-of-hours doc who carted me off to hospital when I last phoned, very efficient - they had my notes all ready because I could barely speak with pain.
However, I phoned them a few years ago late at night and the woman was very rude to me, I think she thought I was drunk.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

I phoned them up and got passed around 4 different people. The someone phoned me back. The conversation with each always started "Do you have a headache? Do you have an adversion to light?
