I've just downloaded it on the link given by the op and fired it up.
No problems whatsoever - apart from the fact that having opened a picture in it I have no idea what to do next!!! It will be a steep learning curve.

I have vista home. If you search Google there are tips on how to use it.I have it on my Xp computer and even bought a book showing me how to do things but still its complicated
This to me is the same a Corel and its free.It looks the same .http://www.getpaint.net/

Anybody know how to remove the nag screen that you get on closing the software?

Have registered it for free, but still get the nag.....

Gimp is weird if you ask me. Have found a hack to remove the nag. Haven't tried it yet as I have to work out how to get vista to let me "take ownership" of my files, so no guarantees....
