I have a baby daughter who has been weaning for a month. stupidly ive been giving orange food for the first two weeks, the betacartone etc. etc, and now all the muslins are orange stained, as i use these as bibs tied around her neck, rather than bibs which dont fit and dont cover enough.
now everything is orange and after several washes on 40degrees with vanish, they're not budging! i know i can wash muslins on a 90degree wash though. i have another lot of muslins that accidently got into the denim wash and are now a horrid grey colour too.
how can i safely whiten these? my daughter sucks on them in comfort so im a little worried about using bleach, is bleach safe? should i use something else? what would you recommend? can i even put bleach into a washing machine?
and as a final thing, can i use these muslins to make cheese? ive always wanted to make my own cheese!
