Hotel close to Braehead

Can anyone tell me if there is another hotel besides Travelodge close to Breahead shopping centre? Well Xscpe really. Thanks.

there is a hotel called the Purple hotel just the other side of Braehead - sort of behind the Ikea

If you google purple hotel - it says it's near Glasgow airport - but really it's closer to Braehead and Ikea etc

...however having just looked into the link further, it would appear that the hotel group is no longer trading - so may be no use at all.

I only knew about it because I regularly drive past it - didn't realise it may not really be open...sorry!

You have 4 at the airport (Holiday Inn Express, Ramada Jarvis, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn). It really depends on the price you want to pay.

Also if you go just past the airport on the A737 at Linwood there is a Premier Inn as well

Yep Purple has been shut for year or so- only opened about 2 years ago too. There is also the Normandy Hotel which is in Renfrew, about a mile away from Braehead, and similarly the Glynhill Hotel in Paisley (just beside J27 on the M8). Both of those are more hotels rather than travelodge motels and price reflects that. If you are going to Xscape it is best really to stay at the travelodge.
