Tesco direct website now showing a summer clearance
http://direct.tesco.com/content/specials/clearance.aspx section
They have some toys and furniture showing for half price that may be worth a look.
Also have the following offers showing on their direct website:
FREE £50 grocery voucher with branded Full HD 1080p TVs when purchased with a Clubcard
£50 grocery voucher only valid on Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba and LG Full HD 1080p TVs. Offer ends 17/08/09. Vouchers will be processed by the 31/08/09 and posted by the 20/09/09.
Get 60 days FREE Tesco DVD rental when you buy any HDMI Upscaling DVD or Blu-Ray player.
They also have wheelybugs half price for £29.98 - I have just noticed on HUKD that StudentJo has just posted about these and seems popular so thought may be worth noting that offer too - thanks to StudentJo

Hello
You have to go out of the clearance section and into the main tags think it is sound and vision and then click on the television link - you should see the offer then on the right hand side.
For some reason I am having a problem pasting a link but i'll try:
http://direct.tesco.com/q/N.1999564/Nr.99.aspx
It is only on certain televisions - please see my first post for which ones.
Hope that helps

Hi.
I have just bought a Full HD 1080p LG32lh2000 tv from tesco and have been informed that it does not apply for the £50 voucher.
It did have £100 off and i did receive 1000 points for tv's purchased over £400 although it had been reduced to £370ish.However ther is no mention of exemptions to the offer anywhere.
It was cheaper elsewhere on the internet , but the voucher made it a better deal. What thinks you?0 -

The one you've bought isn't a FULL HD - just HD ready. We have the same one bought through Cdiscount (which might have been free if Murray won Wimbledon). We got it for £349 & will have 10% back as credit through them. (I don't think that applies now).
It's a GREAT TV & great surround sound, nice picture & energy saving too! We're VERY pleased with it!
The 4000 is full HD - the 2000 is HD ready BUT a newer model!0 -

Hi
The £50 voucher deal is for Branded Full HD 1080p TV's.
the LG you bought is listed as:
LG 32" HD Ready LCD TV with built-in Freeview 32LH2000
So it is stated as HD Ready, not full HD. Not certain of the techicalities between the two terminologies, but I know they are different.0 -
Thank you for that.Feel a bit of a fool having sent them an email of complaint now!!0

I can see on the website that this particular television is showing as £100 off and there is no mention of the £50 voucher - as there is on the other televisions! However, I would be tempted to phone the customer services to clarify as the only terms and conditions on the website are:
£50 grocery voucher only valid on Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba and LG Full HD 1080p TVs. Offer ends 17/08/09. Vouchers will be processed by the 31/08/09 and posted by the 20/09/09.
- and you have to buy using your clubcard..
It does NOT say anywhere voucher offer not valid on televisions that have been discounted??? - so may be worth a phonecall to their customer services..
