Digital TV offers inc HDD - help please

Our cable box is now diffunct and we have to replcae with digital.
My husband loves his football so we need Sky Sports anything else is a bonus, but not necessary, as we want to keep the price down.
However, I believe that we will be restricted as he wants HDD and I think only Sky do this.
We don't have a BT line, we use Virgin, but we will change if necessary.
What is the best price that you have had.
Any clues on getting a better deal and what works best.

I understand that Virgin only offer limited HDD, SO Sky its gonna have to be.
What is the best offer you have received.
I have searched but there are so many options. I was wondering if thoses of you who were happy with your deal could give me your advise.
