Quidco & Merchants who won't offer to Northern Ireland

Guys
Just looking a bit of help here, this week us Northern Ireland folk have missed out on a possible £150 cash back from Aviva (formerly Norwich Union) through Quidco because Aviva won't offer insurance here. Now thats fine I understand some companies won't do certain places however my biggest pain is merchants at quidco NOT putting it on their Quidco page, you can click through to Aviva and even ask it to look up your address, then at the very end after entering all your car details etc you get a message "sorry we can't offer you a quote"
On 3 occassions over the last year I have asked Quidco to make the merchants specify on their Quidco page that they don't cover us to save us time of entering the stuff however Quidco refuse saying its up to the Merchants what they put on their page......I disagree, if we quidco members don't buy anything Quidco makes no money, so I'm asking any of you who are in Quidco to raise a ticket with them and ask them to get merchants to specify exclusions, it is mostly insurance but its just another frustration of this wee country lol!
just been on quidco site, Be Wiser insurance £80 cashback.....clicked through, are you resident in the UK? yes I am......put my postcode in......sorry we can't quote you.........lol!!

I doubt very much a few of us on here emailing them will change their minds. It's just something we gotta accept, living in the backwater that we do.0 -
It's astonishing what a difference 12 miles of water can make.
What gets me is the UK mainland companies that use Royal Mail to deliver stuff here and try to stick the arm in with astronomical additional delivery charges. Bl**dy chancers!Norn Iron Club Member 3300
