Hi there, Most companies pay for disclosures, usually after you have been offered the post first and accepted.
Good luck:rotfl:RiverStar:A0 -
Are you currently claiming JSA?
Some employers do expect you to pay for your own and this should be declared. Other will pay for it themselves. If you are claiming JSA the employer will need to issue you with the CRB for fill in your details and the jobcentre can pay for it for you out of ADF.
If not and you do need to pay for it yourself they usually deduct the money out of your first few pay checks. think they are abou £600 -
johnaka - I've had many enhanced CRBs done, and yes, most of the time the employer will pay the cost. Aside from this, there aren't really any tricks or tips which apply. The CRB will simply reflect what information your local chief of police thinks is relevant. One thing to remember, though - you cannot apply to get one done for yourself - it is only done via an employer or agency.0

yes I'm claiming for JSA.
some will pay and after 3 months, others not stated whether they will or not.
I've applied for a job at BUPA a home for old folks suffering from dementia.
its only 20 minutes walk from my house or 5 mimutes in the car.
fingers crossed.if I'm successfull it will definately be a carreer change for me.
been welding/fabricating most of my working life.0 -

Good luck, just ask the employer and if you need to pay take the form to your local office and ask for it to be paid for out of your adf fund. If you do get the job that fund is also there to assist with anything else you need to but, uniform perhaps?0
