I think I have been dumped. Again.

I've had a grand total of 2 text messages in the last 2 days, one asked what my plans were for the weekend (he already knows I am going to Shrewsbury to do RFL..providing it's not cancelled...as he said he might come with me at one point, but hasn't said any more about it and suddenly announced yesterday that he has the kids all weekend). I said I was away Saturday/Sunday but had the evening to myself tonight, so he could have easily invited me over, but hasn't done.
The other, in reply to me saying I was free tonight, was just to say 'sorry I haven't had time to get back to you, chaos here, talk later x'.
Yes, I think we WILL talk later, and it will involve me telling you to p*ss off.
Don't get it, he was so lovely, and we were getting on so well.
So now spending a very lonely night packing for the weekend and feeling very sorry for myself.
Oh Snaggles, I really know how you feel. I am like that with my boyfriend. If he doesn't respond straight away I think 'that's it' it's over, even though I have been seeing him for 4 and a half years
I send him some horrible texts, which he always puts up with because he knows what I am like, but then again I don't know why he just doesn't contact me so I know everything is ok and then I wouldn't need to send the horrible texts. I just think they don't get it and obviously don't see things the way we do.
I admit I am very needy and need constant reassurance from him and to his credit when he does give it to me, he makes me feel so special, but as I say to him actions speak louder than words.

Very true bunny, I know I am :rotfl:0 -
Chick chick I agreed about HP, I didn't think it did justice to the book, and some bits just seemed wrong to me.
Snaggles, I really hope things turn out for you, maybe he just forgot what weekend you were doing RFL?Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

That's quite possible, he does sometimes seem to have quite a bad memory, but you'd think when I said I was doing it this weekend, he would have had some flicker of recognition that he'd said he might some with me, and was going to let me know nearer the time (bearing in mind he invited himself, I didn't ask him to come).
He will be at home by now if he has the kids, I'm sure. He used to ring me on his way home, back when he was trying to get me into bed. Cynical, me?? If he'd really wanted to talk to me this evening, he could have done quite easily.
Suspect I'm not going to hear from him again, but for a nice guy, he is making a bit of a performance of dumping me."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Evening all
I'm back from my travels, lighter in the pocket but cheaper than going abroad.

Ohh good idea!
I really need to learn to do the 'treat them mean, keep them keen' thing I think. I'm too soft, and I'm too open with my feelings, if I like someone, I want to be nice to them and make them feel happy. Apparently, men don't like to be liked."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
i know exactly, Snags, seemed to be getting on well in chat with a guy, he's all sensitive and stuff, but as soon as i said anything about my feelings, he's gone.....lolCats don't have owners - they have staff!!
