baby/toddler tights

when at home, baby wears bodysuits and jeans or bodysuits and tights.

she currently has one pair of cream cotton, but they are size 0-6months, and she's 5 months. so i need new tights.

we need some cream, and maybe a patterned/striped pair to go with various dresses. where are they cheap? i keep seeing places selling for £10+!!

edit: i need them in cotton by the way!

Try your local Woolworths. I buy lovely two-packs of patterned tights for my daughter there. Her age is 5-6 and I got a couple of packs reduced from £6 to £3 a few weeks back. You may still be lucky. Smaller sizes would probably be even cheaper. They are also a decent leg length so you can reliably go for the right age - nothing worse than having to fight them into a pair of tights or a drooping gusset!

  • I got some nice ones from mothercare a couple of weeks ago. One pair of plain cream and one pink with a nice sheen for £6. Not the cheapest but they haven't bobbled like some of the cheaper ones.
