Hi guys,

Hope someone can give me some advice. This is first time i have posted although been veiwing for months. Finally facing up to mine and OH debts which are horrendous and decided time to take action. Up to now been managing payments but this month is first time been unable to do so. Spoken to CC co and they have agreed 3 month breathing space. Spoken to HSBC about overdraft and to say they were less than helpful is an understatement. Have today made appt with CAB but not until end of July as they are very busy (can't think why!!!)
Can anyone advise if best to wait for CAB or to go with CCC??? I am hoping to avoid DMP if possible as understand it can have adverse affect. On other hand may be our only option. Any advice would be appreciated as struggling to put food on the table (kids not impressed!!) and all a bit scary.

    Hi

As a starting point, can you fill in an SOA and then we can better advise what might be possible

    See here http://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html

As a newbie, you need to delete the link at the bottom before you will be allowed to post the SOA.

    Hello freedomfromdebt,
RAS has put you in the right direction. Completing the SOA will not only help you to get advise here but will also help you to understand where you money is going.

Debt normally comes from spending more the your income. Habits have to change to fully solve the problem.

Good Luck, Looking forward to your next post.
