Hi i have spoken to two solicitors (who have not and will not charge any fee) who seem to think i will be ok to have this car, even though my reasons for having it dont strictly fall into the rules stated, any thought?0

Hi as i said above the advice i have been given is that i would be ok to have a car upto £2000 in value, do people agree? Also if the flat i move to is only 1 bus ride away from where i work would this make any difference to me being allowed a car? (which is also needed for seeing my son who lives 25 miles away)0

I am afraid it will very much depend on the OR on the day and how good a mood he is in. Just don't mention how near you are to work unless asked.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Hi well i am buying a car now that will cost me £1750, it looks like i am having the flat which is 3 bus rides away from work so hopefully they will let me keep the new car instead?, i intend to use some of the money from my previous cars sale to pay for the flat deposit, one months rent in advance and also for some essential furniture such as bed, settee, curtains, washing machine etc, i will also use some of that money to pay the bankruptcy fee, does anyone see a problem with this? Thanks0

Just keep every receipt, so if need be you can account for every penny of the car money spent then you should have no problem.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Thanks0 -
