OR Interview - What now?

Hi all

Had my OR interview (telephone) yesterday, lasted about 60-70 mins. Very nice lady who was polite and sympathetic throughout. I kept it as waffle free as possible (weakness of mine I'm afraid) and it seemed to go really well.
From what I can tell she seemed satisfied with my SOA and all the answers I had given, one or two points need clarification (pension etc) and she will write for info. Where I didn't know info or was not sure I was honest about it and that seemed to satisfy. I would however appreciate your views on the following and likely course of events-

No face to face or other interview mentioned, is that likely to be it?

Unemployed at the moment (and not signing on, stupid I know) and expenses far out weigh any likely income (3700pm!!!) in the foreseeable future. Wife is picking up most the cost etc at the moment. OR made no mention of attachments to future earning etc. What is likely to happen here, I go the impression that as there was nothing coming in that would be that, is this likely / correct?

Any feedback / view appreciated. Thanks.

It's not likely you will need another interview now so don't worry about that. They will write to you if need be for any more information. You would have been told at the time of the interview whether the OR wanted to make any payment arrangements with you but as you have no disposable income, then you will not have any payment arrangement unless you get a job which gives you income available.

    Hope this helps

Sounds like things are going smoothly for you almost_free :)

I wouldn't be concerned about what the OR may do or may not do, just enjoy the feeling of relief (I hope) you are getting as a result of being debt free. It sounds unlikely that your OR will want a FTF interview and it may be months before you hear from him again. Just be on the ball when you are contacted, I have heard that OR's appreciate a promt response to questions and that can only go in your favour.

  • Thanks for the responses, I hoped that would be the case but it went so well it made me start thinking there might be some surprises to come.
My debts were very large and my monthly expenses are huge!! add to that negative equity etc and its not a pretty picture. I was earning a big salary and would be lucky to get a third of it in the current climate, the chances of surplus income are very slim.
