Endowment question ?

I would appreciate your help.

I have now put a complaint into my life office for a mis-sold endowment.
While the above is being processed, am I allowed to sell the endowment, in the context that it will not jeopardise the complaint ?

"If you're thinking of surrendering or trading your with profits endowment policy in because you think you were given bad advice to buy it in the first place, you should complain to the firm which sold you the policy.
