Interview with OR over!

I've just finished my chat with the OR. He was a very nice man and put me at ease. I didn't waffle at all and the chat only lasted 35 minutes. I'd put a lot of information in Section 13 of my form which helped to keep the chat shorter.
He believes my car will be allowed and exempt, hopefully confirmation should come through within a week. I will be on a Nil tax code and will get the letter about that next week. With the Nil tax code letter will also come a letter about an IPA if applicable but he thinks it's on the borderline whether I will get one so fingers crossed. He's removed my 'presents' allocation from my expenditure but didn't mention anything else being removed or reduced. He did mention he accepted my comment about my 14 year old son eating as much (if not more) than an adult as well.
Relieved thats over and I will find out by the end of next week about the last little bits.
Very relieved and happy LATE who is now going to go to work! :rotfl:

:jCongratulations Late. Glad you got it all over with. My oh's nt tax started today cos he gets paid weekly and mine starts at end of the month so I really need to get a dd sorted soon. Let us know if you get an ipa as my OR said similar things to yours by the sound of it and we still haven't heard anything.:D
Good luck in the future :beer:Discharged May 20100 -

Well done you, thats great news, can i be really cheeky, for those of us who are just starting can you post your soa so we can see what they found acceptable. I know its different for each individual circs, but I think it would be helpful anyway. If you think this is too nosy, i am sorry don't want to cause offence but just trying to get my head around it all.
Cheers

Thanks everyone.
Almost wish I'd stayed at home afterwards today - had a really shi**y day after such a good start!!
Larzie, I'm still waiting for confirmation of what he's accepted and what he hasn't - that should come by the end of next week. My previous SOA is available somewhere on this forum if you want to search - think it might be under LATE's SOA but not sure.BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500
