BB are your college still doing the sugarcraft cake decorating classes?

yep - well, it's more general cake decorating rather than sugarcrafting. The beginners class in September is full, that one is more about lots of butter icing/sugar shards/coloured fondant. The 'more' cake decorating will be in the January-March term and from what the tutor told me (she was teaching next door to me), she did a couple of weeks of butter icing type cakes and then did a couple of sugar craft ones - I think they did a small cake with a fondant icing 'hat' on and then made lots of roses to stick on top.

There are lots of places on the 1 night cake decorating have a go session. If the tutor does the same as last year, she will bring a small cake for each person, you bring the fondant icing and use her colourings and cutters and ribbon/stars etc to decorate how you fancy.

Don't know what Bex, wish it was.

Not going to Weymouth fer sure now-we've decided to try the trailer tent that weekend and think it will be a better idea to stay closer to home...may do Bala Lake or Barmouth or Towyn.

Sam and Jo, just sent you email re. virgin.

Spudly - what list?? whatcha doing?

Maz, I intend to get some sort of order into my life during the summer holidays - diet, exercise and a good clearing out of clutter, tidying up etc. Sammy suggested I write a list of things to do in each room - not sure I've got enough paper :p

  • Hi

    Busy day:p

Spudly - I need to make a list or 3, and I have a nice shiny red diary to do it in.:j If I dont write it on my list it doesn't get done....... and I haven't made a list since before I went on holiday:eek: (Thats why nothing has got done)

Bookie - lady after my own heart. I love gin..................

Ames - I have a big dog in a little dogs body :D

Spent all morning picking stuff at the allotment it was great, then went shopping at Lidl, (my perfect morning lol)

Afternoon soon changed all that, Ds was supposed to be going to guitars, but got poorly really quickly with a temperature- looked horrible. Then a friend said S flu, so I had to do it didn't I, did check list and ended up needing contacting nhs direct, so a nurse is going to ring me back in approx 11 hours time:eek:. No... they were really good, any concerns ring back or docs if he deteriorates.

Still it did give me time to contact local education authority to push for ds getting on a college course next year and getting them to pay for it:rolleyes:. Got a meeting next Wednesday, still the sooner they say no the sooner I can escalate it up the food chain.

Going for a nice shower in a bit, using all the nice bits my dd has bought me over the last year, (bless her)
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly
