My Just say NO! diary

Have been missinng in action for a while been a busy bee

pay day is in a few days time and it is that time of the month again where I have bits of paper all over the house with workings out on . Need to work out a /find a spreadsheet type thingy to put all my finance stuff on to and ditch the paper .

Now that the girls room is decorated ( extremely proud of myself ) the rest of the house needs a lick of paint . Want to get the bathroom spruced up next just needs a coat of paint undecided on what colour or even to leave it white .

Have a few things planned for the next couple of weeks so once again need to be good with the pennies and keep on saying NO to things not really needed .

On the plus side I am managing to reduce grocery shop . for the last three weeks the bill has been £20 cheaper :j

Not been on here in a while . Been busy spending money:mad:

Things are not looking good :rolleyes:

I have not paid any money on either the gas or electric am now expecting to have huge bills to pay when they come ,I normally pay something every month so that I do not have a lot to find when I get the bills , :mad:

Same with the water bill I pay £20 each month but i missed last month and this month :mad:

Also have not paid council tax bill which is not as bad as it sounds i still have time to pay as the deadline for this months payment is not untill a couple of days time and I get paid on friday ,thing is I have made myself a month behind with payments. :mad:

am also short of the rent money for this month which will come out of my pay as well as next months rent :mad:

I still have not paid any money to my mother for the money she lent me and I still have some rent arrears to pay as well:o


I feel stupid and foolish for spending this money on having a good time .But whats done is done and I cant change that I realisticaly understand that I will not be able to pay off all of this with 1 months wages and know that the most important one to clear up are the council tax and the rent including the arrears

This month is going to be very tight but I am sure I can at least pay off half if not more . really need to sit down and work it out on paper .:rolleyes: to get a better understanding of what I can actually acheieve .

general plan is to cut back on food bill (we have lots of goodies in our goodie box that can go they are expensive and may help with DD attitude problem she has aquired over the last few weeks ) also not to buy drinks out and take a bottle of made up squash to put in my bag Also i allow myself to much pocket money so I will reduce this , and generally "just say no " to things that are glittering at me in the shops. I am confident this will make a huge difference to the amount of money i have .

but just to top of a really whinging post my DD has had a growth spurt and none of her jeans or tracksuits fits her so she will need a few bits and pieces including some kind of foot wear . I am just hoping and praying that the weather does not turn cold and I can eeek out her summer clothing
