MGenie Offset Exclusive(MG428): 4.69% Tracker - 18 months. Is it any good?

Where did you see the Offset mortgage? Whenever I have visited mortgage genie the search facility does not include offset as far as I can see.

It's First Direct: 18 months at BoE +0.19% followed by 18 months at +0.75%

If it really is offset you might as well borrow as much as their loan to value / loan to income ratios allows and then stick it all in to the offset account - then you have the funds if you need them and it doesn't cost you anything, wheras if you later want to borrow more there will almost certainly be fees.
