We did it!!!

My wife and I, finally, went BR today....after months, if not years, of humming and harring over it, we took the plunge!.
Our appointments were for 10.20 and 10.30am. We got to the court ontime and handed over the forms to the ,initially slightly frightening, lady at reception, who went over both our forms.
The CAB had helped us fill these in (including the fee exemption forms) and there were some slight errors in calculation!... but the receptionist re did them for us there and then, and just asked us to initial the changes...really nice of her.
My forms went through her with ease...with me being on Jobseekers, there was no prob....our 3 months bank statements were fine...she just had a few queries but no biggys. We had both opened up post office card accounts about nearly 3 months before...and because the PO dont do full statements on demand, we only had 2 months of PO card account state ments....which the receptionist said we needed at least 3 months as we could have had lots of money in(she mentioned LOTTERY) and withdrew it in the missing month!!!....so we tried to explain to her that these accounts were benefit only accounts and that nothing else could go into them....anywho....I was excepted fine but we had to quickly go get the 150 court fee so that my wife could be done on the day too...the receptionist give us another form to eventually fill in to get a refund on the fee when we get the extra months statement...phew....sorry...this is all prolly very confusing....but after gallons of nervous sweat...and dreadful waiting...(reading was no option way too stressed), I was called first at around 12.45 (we could have been done together apparently..but the guy only said this after).
The judge was a strange looking lady... mix of a Wallace and Gromit type hair and that leading actress from Dinnerladies tv show...cant remeber her name....even acted like her(mannerisms)!....but she was absolutely LOVELY!!....she did not ask any awkward questions and was in complete understanding of our predicament....so I was in for 10mins max.....my wife was called later and I was able to go in with her.....it was the same judge....hers was 6mins max.......and we just took our forms from the judge back to the receptionist who gave us our BR numbers and told us that the OR will phone us in a couple of days.:j
Christ we knackered...my wife has gone to bed now and Im off to have a smoke....thanks to EVERYONE on this FANTASTIC forum for their help and compassion..This site is a MUST..for those who are thinking of going the way of the big BR
