i know these 97p clearance deals are not avaliable to all, but i have checked stock local to my family and 3 of the 9 stores have them avaliable to reserve (borehamwood, enfield & friern barnet) so i say its not a bad ratio and stock is avaliable.

my wife just came home from our local currys with 2 of these, even though no stock was displayed online (she was picking up the vax 301 anyway).

Thanks, just ordered mine from Canterbury. You have to persist, the form keeps popping back with other shoppers' details!

I couldn't get through until I registered as a user which made the process much faster.

Finally got 1 reserved in Darlington!

However, because their site went loopy I have 1 reservation number for 5 in Canterbury!

If anyone wants the reservation number just send me a message.

Wow, if you alternate between 'go to checkout' and 'return to shopping basket', you'll get a random selection of customer details different every time :eek:, use a throwaway email address and a false phone number to be safe, blimey Currys
