Tesco free range chicken thighs/drumsticks...

I was just idly looking on MySupermarket at where I could buy some chicken to put in a curry, and I found that Tesco ordinary free range 825g mixed thighs/drumsticks are £4.00 whereas Tesco Finest corn fed free range mixed thighs/drumsticks are £2.89 for the same quantity :j

Am I missing something? It's not listed as a special offer... can they really be only £2.89 a pack?

Well my tesco.com says it's £2.89 for 825g of cornfed f/range , but mine doesn't have the "normal"[STRIKE] organic[/STRIKE] free range to compare with. Their non [STRIKE]organic[/STRIKE] free range chicken portions are £2 for 790g so maybe they ordered lots in for BBQs and the weather means they had lots left?
Plenty of room in my freezer so gonna stock up, thanks OP!

I meant free range not organic (I'm being harrassed by children who have been stuck inside all day and are scrounging for more snacks - the joys of summer hols in the rain! lol)

Well it's definitely true - just been and stocked up on a few packs, and will get more if I clear more space in the freezer while they are still at the low price
