Okay sorry, I am new to this and want to know everything lol. New questions keep popping into my mind everyday.
When going through SOA people are suggesting that you take bits off and add them to other things eg take a bit off the pet care and add it to dry cleaning, will the OR not see through this and penalise you and don't they check up on whether you have been having dry cleaning done already etc.
Sorry if I am being really dumb!!
Thanks in advance again!!!!!!

No. They don't check as long as you dont take the "P". The OR is flexible on SOAs but there are limits. So £90 a month on dry cleaning is going to be turned down unless you are a showgirl with masses of flouncy outfits (if you see what I mean). If you don't work you don't really need dry cleaning.
Of course, stuff like adding pet insurance/food to your SOA and then telling the OR your dog died last year and the house is so empty without him, is a bit stupid too....0 -
if you put your SOA on this board we will be able to help you .... the goal is to put what you actually spend on each expenses.
however many people are not aware that doing a SOA for BR and a DMP are very different. on a DMP you tend to reduce your outgoing to maximise what you can give to your creditor but in a BR the goal is to have enough to live confortably so you can start afresh.BSC number 1830 -
