i have recently recieved a letter from a company called marlins saying they are going to make me bankrupt for a debt they have bought from gmac on-line finance for a car loan i took out in 2003..as i had trouble with the vehicle i returned it .
i have checked my credit record and it says the original loan is settled..i sent a copy of this to marlins but they say it is an error and i still owe them over £9000..can they do this??
please help!!!!
