Best 5yr fixed rate?

For a first time buyer with a 10% deposit, what are the current best rates available on the market for a 5 year fixed rate mortgage?

Best ones I can find are both 5.99% at either Natwest or RBS who both offer a first time buyer exclusive mortgage.

Assuming that is the best 5yr fix 90% LTV, does anybody know how long an agreement in principle is valid for with them?

    Thanks

We went for the Natwest FTB exclusive at 5.99% and they were superb. Very quick and efficient. However we dealt with someone in branch which I would recommend as you have a contact and face to face discussions then rather than relying on call centre staff.

Usually 3 months is the standard, not 100% sure though!
