    however, if his 3 month employment contract is not renewed then that will be different

    You need to ensure that he makes CCS aware that the job contract is currently for a period of 3 months - I'm not sure that will want to help set up a DMP for such a short period, but may suggest making token payments until the job situation is more secure.
