Thank you for your advice. I had become bored with waiting on hold with TMB therefore asked the Forum. Their SVR is 4.84%, which compared witht he Lloyds Group of 2.5% is extortionate. Do we have any right to question this?0

An SVR can be whatever the lender wants, so no.0

im with TMB also and from next month im going on their svr aswell, i also think 4.84 is very high compared with the rest. but i think its high coz maybe its a sub prime lender?
anyway, the svr is a kool 4.34% above base rate. wot id like to know is this...
when interest rates go to say 3% will their svr then go to 3 + 4.34 = 7.34%?
and if base rate goes to 5% then their svr will be 9.34%????
