First Time Tesco Home Delivery

I have previously used Asda online but the new website won't work  so I have taken advantage of the Tesco £10 voucher plus £10 from Topcashback (if it tracks!).

What happens with substitutes? Do you check and accept or reject when the order arrives the same as Asda? If I reject a few things and my order goes under £50 will I lose the £10 voucher? Do they ring or text you before they arrive? Can you add the points to your Clubcard later as you can with a normal receipt?

Sorry if I seem a bit paranoid, I have booked the latest slot but will be at a meeting and then the pub beforehand  Also our address didn't come up properly on the system, so slightly worried the order won't ever arrive! I signed up as Mr. Fire Fox as the Topcashback offer was for new sign ups only; my Clubcard is already registered tho never had a grocery delivery.

Thanks!

Substitutes: they will be listed at the top of your paperwork and delivered in blue carrier bags. Unlike Asda you get charged whatever the price of substitute is eg if you order £1 sausages and they send £2 sausages then you pay £2.
If you dont want then you hand them back to the driver and you get a refund within a few days back in to the account you paid with.

If your order goes under £50 you wont lose your discounts as its the total order amount when you place your order.

They do not ring/txt before they arrive, you just have to be in for the whole 2hrs.

Im not sure about the points thing- maybe ring Tesco customer services and ask if they can add the points on for you.

If the driver cant find you then they will ring you but chances are theyve planned their route so wouldve rang this morning if they were unsure.
You can add notes to your address in the future though- theres a bit on the last page for notes.

Hope that helps! (Suprised so many people had viewed your post and not replied!)

Thanks very much! In the end everything went smoothly, no substitutes, Mr. Fire Fox checked and put away and the order tracked on Topcashback! :T
