average discharge times at the moment

Just wondering if anyone has got a solid grasp on how the early discharge cases are taking to happen. I'm not getting my hopes up but wondering if due to the increased numbers of people going bankrupt recently, whether this is flooding the system and things are taking longer or whether the opposite is true and the OR's are underpressure to get them done as quickly as possible and move onto the next?
any thoughts on this?
i guess im just coming upto my 3 month mark and starting to dream really!

I was told that due to the flood of br's, ED wasn't happening as much anymore0

ah no - seriously? that's the worst news I've heard in a long time - can anyone else confirm they've heard the same thing?AD - 23/04/2010

We have had quite a few ED's on here over the last month or so and quite a few have had the EDREV form. Though it is not guaranteed once you have filled the forms in you will get ED. I think though that ED's will get less as the year goes on and I reckon that they will get less.
There was one poster the other day who reported that there office had a ED clerk and they were trying to get as many of the simple cases off their books so they could concentrate on the more serious cases. So you never know.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
I know two people who personally went BR around the time I did, both have received paperwork for ED.
Im hoping to be next :-)0 -
Personally I would assume the 12 month mark & try & put ED to the back of your mind. No use hoping for something that may not happen.
...only 9 months left..& you are quarter the way there anyway.

I went the full 12 months myself and never once thought about ED. IMHO 12 months is quite short enough for all the debt I unloaded - no point in being greedy! Put it to the back of your mind and concentrate on LIVING!

Here here....
I think when we start this process we all think, god if only it would all go away... and we just what to get straight.
Plan on it taking a year, its a small price to pay.... just remember back to how it felt before your BR.
Good luck to you if you do get ED though.:D
