IIRC it is a £1 per month, not sure who pays though, they prefer if the parents make personal arrangements.

It was suggested that it would be the NRP, but a lot of staff felt that it should be both as a mechanism to put off applications
    Nothing to see here

So do we have a figure? why is it also down to what the staff think? For many the CSA is the last option.

The figure that has been suggested is around £79.00 per assessment. Back in 1993 it was £65.00
As to who pays, it has been suggested the fee comes out of the maintenance payment itself this way the NRP and the PWC will need to think twice before requesting a new reassessments.

Does that mean it is the parent asking for re-assessment will pay the fee?

If the fee comes out of the assessment, it reduces the money that the PWC receives for the child.

Hardly fair for the PWCs who have to chase partners for money, is it? And for those who get caught.. they will be glad the PWC receives less money.

As for PWCs. I am sure most of them are grateful at getting anything!

That was my initial thought. Would then be all to easy to create a nil payment every month, if so minded. I read it again and wondered the meaning (hence question to CMAC) - makes more sense to deduct from a pwc payment from csa, or add to a nrp payment to csa (depending which one asked). Then there's a load of unfair scenarios (both ways).........
