My sister is getting married 24th July 2009(our late Mums birthday), its her 2nd marriage and the week after she her new husband and her kids emigrate to Spain.
To cut down on costs she has asked to use my car for the wedding Car, I have got the ribbons, bows for handles, upholstery is light beige so no covers needed but I was wondering dont wedding cars have flowers on the rear parcel shelf?
Anyone come up with a cheap way to do this, I would like to make it special for her.

I asked about this when ordering my flowers a couple of weeks ago and it seems the consensus is no. People dont seem to order them any more as they are seen as dated.
This could be as some brides place their bouquets on the back.
I asked about having a display made which can then be doubled up as a table decoration at the registry office and main venue on the top table. HTH.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Thanks for your replies, My sister is putting her bridal bouquet on Mum's grave, but I like your idea of the flowers in the car doubling up for a table decoration Debs.
Good luck with your wedding Debs x0 -
I know this is a bit off topic, but does anyone else remember a very old government information film where a box of tissues on a cars parcel shelf turned into a brick and smashed the drivers head in when he slammed on the breaks!!!Booo!!!0

I have asked our wedding car hire company to remove all the flowers in the ca for our wedding as I dislike them, but thats my personal choice.
I think it will look lovely enough with ribbons etc...we have a little Just Married sign (metal one) that the comapny are going to attach to the luggage box on the back of the car after the ceremony.0 -
