Pick your own - where???

Sorry, if posting in the wrong place. If so, can someone move it please?

I had a nice farm not too far from where I lived in Leicestershire and went there couple of times to pick my own fruit and loved it.

Now, I have moved to Lancashire and seem to have trouble finding any pick your own produce places!!!! Can anyone suggest where are they hiding? I live not far from Preston/Blackburn/Chorley.

Ginvzt - I'm also having the same problem! I want to go somewhere to pick my own fruit but can't seem to find anywhere in the North West!

    Thanks all!

I know Huntleys - it is a very nice place, but they don't do pick-your-owns, unless I am missing something?..

From other website mentioned, the only one seem to be still operational is greenbank farm, but it is a bit far to drive there, it is about 35 miles away from where I am, so 70 mile return journey is a bit too much...

    You're missing something !!!!

FRUIT PICKING – NOW AVAILABLE Our Black, white and red currants are now ready for picking

keep an eye on the website for when it’s time to pick our Fruit field plums, damsons, peas, beans and runner beans– no strawberries this year I’m afraid, but there will be plenty next summer for picking.

we go to kenyon hall farm, which is just off the m6 (junction 22), near warrington.

google the website and they tell you what's available for picking at the time. at the moment there are rasperries, blackberries, tayberries, peas, blackcurrants. strawberries are ending their season.
:DThanks to all posters for your help! :D
