Here's an idea; why doesn't he get off his lazy !!!!!! and do some work rather than screwing a company and other people who may have actually wanted the cards?
Why do so many in the UK seem to think it is ok to 'do over' companies if they make lots of money?
LOL inki who are you to judge anyone
do you think VODAPHONE and the other firms that give out sim cards for free do it from the kindness of their hearts???
well they DONT they do it so you get one of their sim cards and they can RIP YOU OFF charging what they charge for you to use the same sim card at their extortionate prices so if someone can get a few quid back of them for once then FARE PLAY TO THEM
i wouldnt have a voda phone sim and use it if they gave me a top phone with it for free but thats MY choice......©..®..(TM) NothingVentured.

what does that have to do with anything?!
obviously they want to make money from people who use their service...
BUT, does it make it better for the poor consumer, (us), when they are then taken for a ride and charged by some untalented, tightarsed git who cant do a real job for something they could have got for free straight from the service provider?!

The better phone networks do not give away much for free as they have a better business plan than the likes of O2 and '3' for example.
If people cannot afford a SIM card they will probably not be able to pay their bills either.
The trouble with dishing out freebies is that some people expect everything to be free, and expect top service for free, and call centres that will answer your call within 10 seconds.
The customers that get freebies are usually the first ones to complain if something goes wrong, and then wonder why they get low priority......hmmmmmm......maybe it is because you are not profitable for the company to have as a customer, and the people that actually spend money get the service they deserve.0 -

People receivng these free sim cards are profitable to the company, they are all potentail customers and are dying to get get as many people as possible onto their network, and fair enough these sim cards may be "free" but a company should give you the service you deserve whether you pay or not.!"£$%^&*()0 -
Agree. And, I'm sure most of you, like me, can afford a SIM card but if someone is giving them away for free why shouldn't we take up the offer.
Take the point about service standards but I have been with vodafone for years and want to keep the same number with minimum hassle. Having lost my old one including my VF SIM card with credit on it, they have barred it and will transfer my credit when I get my new phone up and running. I don't use the phone loads so am happy with PAYG and VF charges.0
