  • Thanks for your suggestion re the Alliance and Leicester. I had a chat to OH about it, and he's not keen to move as we're currently with First Direct who have really good customer services. I've got to admit I agree.
We could maybe go with a different savings account though if I can find one that pays more interest. We're with ING Direct at the moment. I find it better to have a savings account with a different bank than my current account (so we can't just spend it :rotfl:)

  • I seem to be up and ready too early this morning  I'm just having a quick surf on here before I have to start work.
I've checked my bank balance, and all the money has transferred over for the new car, so it's looking much healthier :D

I dug some books out last night, and I'm going to list them on Amazon today. I have a bit of a thing with books where I like to keep them in case I read them again, but I never do :rotfl:So hopefully I might make a bit of extra money by passing them onto someone who wants them.

Hubby has the car today, so I'm carless. I finish work at 11am, and the Childminder will drop DS off at about quarter past 11, so I need to think of something we can do together today that doesn't cost anything. It's a shame we don't have a decent park anywhere near us.

  • Right well DS and I are meeting a new friend at a Wacky Warehouse today. We will have to get the bus  as hubby has got the car. It's £3 to get into the Wacky Warehouse, but then you get a snack and drink for the little one, and a coffee for you, so not that bad I don't think. Hope the bus doesn't cost loads though.

I'm going to try and get the books listed on Amazon before DS gets home from the childminder, so I'll have around 15 mins to list 8 books!

  • That is a shame luckily we have a lot of parks near us and lots of nice spots for picnics although the weather is terrible here today. That's a fantastic price for wacky warehouse!! Our kids club here is £3 in for the child then anything else you want you have to pay and cannot take any of your own food in so it ends up costing a fortune but it is hard if the kids miss out on things just because of mummys debt ( in my case i mean!) DD and i are going to paint pictures later as it's rainging can't think of much else to do without spending money lol trying to stay in and have a NSD. Well done on listing your books it's something ihave to get around to myself, have a great day :)
    Winging life....
