Re-mortgage with a secured loan

Thesnapper

Hi, i am currently re-mortgaging and have been approved by the mortgage lender . I have a secured loan with another company which i DO NOT want to repay at this time.

I understand that they now have to go as 2nd on my mortgage and i was wondering if there was any chance they might refuse to ?

Any comments welcome, thanks.

You will require a deed of postponement (DOP).
The solicitor doing the remortgage conveyancing will apply for this - you may need to pay a fee
Yes there is a chance they may refuse.
