Direct Line Loans
Hi
Direct Line are offering 5.6% on unsecured loans now which seems to be the best rate around, but has anyone had any experience of them?
Often they refuse all but the very best applications?
Anyone here been refused by them?
Any comments appreciated
Regards
Matt

woohoo!
been accepted for the 5.6% (and I'm self employed!)
seems straight forward enough although I had to ask for the basic repayments as I was only offered the three insurance options to start with. There's also a £45 transfer charge as well?
thanks Mr Lewis!0 -
I applied but was denied i have a 907 score out of 1000 on my experian credit file (the one they use) think i had to many previous searches in the last 6 months. Be carefull when applying for even a savings account such as first direct which i did just before the loan app. They did 4 searches on me (for a savings account!!!!) just found out now when i checked my file. No wonder i was refused. OH well what can you do hey0

"OH well what can you do hey"....appeal...call them and explain the searches were not your fault, go over the application again, chances are only a small computer program looked at your application, plenty of decisions get over turned on appeal.0
