Which of these deals is best - am I missing something?

They both look very similar to me. Which do you think is best?

4.34% for 36 months, then 4.49% variable rate.
Early repayment charge details:
ERC - 3% of the amount repaid in year 1, 2% in year 2 and 1% in year 3.

Yeah Very Similar - What are you planning on doing after the 3 years are up?
If you are going to move again I would go for th Britania deal.
But hey what do I know I can not find myself a decent deal either.
