Hi fellow Celts

Going to Scotland next week and kids love thrill rides so intending to visit M&D's. Apart from their own website, is there anywhere I can buy tickets, preferably discounted? Some info on the place would be appreciated too.

Thanks

There is a link on hotdeals for 241 vouchers through GMTV, which may help

We were there last week! M&D's is set in Strathclyde country park, so it doesn't have to be spend spend spend as you can park the car (all free parking) further from the actual theme park and take a leisurely walk through the park, have a picnic lunch etc before you hit the actual rides. Amazonia (indoor rainforest with different animals) is really good, although quite expensive, it cost the two of us around a tenner, although we did spend over an hour in there. As far as I was aware, you don't pay a ticket price to get into the theme park, you buy tickets to get on the rides. The rides all cost between one pound and two roughly, but you are only paying for what you actually go on. If you decide to do the park etc first, you will find many of the attendees let you on the bigger rides for free at the end of the day. The largest rollercoaster for example needs a certain number of people on it to run, so if you hang around that area when a couple of people are waiting in line, the attendee will probably shout you over and ask if you want to come on as they need more people.

Used to be an offer that it was cheaper to go after 5pm. Will be on their website. As Karate says only those who ride pay with no admission charge. Have always paid for wristbands as it works out much cheaper.

The park itself can be good as well on anice day - try a visit to the watersports centre. You used to be able to get a fairly well priced family ticket, which gave you speed boat ride, wavebobs, rowing boats/peddalos etc

Use Teso Clubcard deals to go for 1/4 of the price - if you've time - if not the deals can be used at other theme parks for up to six months.;)

we use the days out from tescos for the wrist bands and also to get into amazonia.. no extra payment needed.. if adults dont like the rides they can buy tickets around the park for the odd ride..

good day out if weather ok .. have indoor arcades and cafes .. all in all not as expensive as some of the other theme parks we been to
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,

We ordered our Loudon Castle clubcard deals a couple of days ago,(after 8 at night on Tuesday) I expect them to arrive tomorrow, (they were sent our yesterday)

They really don't take long to come, it's only a slip of paper to be posted after all.
