How can we find out about upcoming spirits deals in supermarkets?

So, I've decided to get a jump on my Christmas shopping since I'm about to leave my (relatively) well paid job and go back to Uni to do my PhD and money's going to be tight by December.

There's a couple of people on my list who would almost certainly prefer a bottle to any other present (bro, sis, grandad) so I was wondering how we can find out when the best spirits offers can be had?

By this I mean the 2 for £20 type promotions that supermarkets occasionally run and I'm sure I've seen two of the 1 litre bottles for £20 in recent years, which would be brilliant.

Any ideas?

You can also bribe someone who's flying away on hols (I wish I'd bought the litre of Bombay Sapphire for £12 on our return last week :rolleyes: ) to bring some back for you.
