quick question regarding all these Music News Comps that blackmidnight has posted,

all the pages listing the comps which have the 'enter here' links, all link to the same url http://www.music-news.com/Newsletter.asp without any comp id in the url itself or on the page. do we only need to enter once for all comps?? or does 'asp' mean something in the url itself?

I believe catz, (who used to post these) had emailed the site to query this, and they replied that they all go to seperate places.
Mind you, catz did say she hadnt heard of anyone who had won from here, so who knows!

I wondered the same - Catz said that she had emailed them and got told that they entered you into the 'right' competition each time but I don't really know how it would work

ah well ill enter them anyway, but won't hold my breath thanks guys.

Just a guess, but it's possible that the entry form records where you came from (i.e. the referrer). So it knows which comp you are entering by looking at which page you came from.

Hence if anyone has 'Referrers Disabled' on their browsers you might want to enable it for these comps. Some compers have referrers disabled so comp organisers cannot see they are coming from MSE. HTH.
