Curanail - So expensive!

This treatment for fungal nail infections seems to be really expensive. £22 in Boots and I can't seem to find it for much less than £17 online (when you include P&P). Does anyone know if there is a generic alternative (doesn't seem to be) or can anyone find it cheaper anywhere? Anyone got any home remedies instead?
Also, has anyone tried it? Does it even work? Everything I've read says it takes 6 to 9 months to work. I think things might have sorted themselves out by then anyway so is it a waste of money?

Couldn't you get a script if you go to the doctors?
That would be definitely be cheaper.0 -
Boots assistant told me you can get it for £7 odd if you go to doctor and get a prescription for it.
If you are buying it at Boots it is on Buy One, Get One Half Price. This is advertised on website but not in store but if you ask assistant to check it on till in store it does come up. Worked last weekend anyway!
I haven't started using it yet. It is a once a week treatment.
I have heard people say Tea Tree Oil is supposed to be good - a lot cheaper!"Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence": Desiderata0 -
