Abbey mortgage with £250 cashback

I have a Abbey mortgage arranged which includes £250 cashback. Does anyone know how soon after completing you recieve the £250.

I would think it will be on the same day as completion. It will probably be forwarded with the mortgage amount.

I think it is credited to the bank account you select for the direct debit to come out of, 10 to 14 days after completion

Hi

In 2006 my £250 cashback was deducted from the booking/reservation fee that I added to the loan. Therefore I did not actually physically receive it. Suppose it depends if you have paid any fees upfront or not, unless it has changed now.

We've just signed up to this mortgage with them and been told that we get the £250 on completion, as its 'towards legal costs' it goes to our solicitor towards their fees. hth
