I have decided after much pondering to buy a dsi console :D

Argos have the best deal with the dsi console costing an eye watering £149.99 :eek:but with a free game (professor layton (£29.99) and free accessories kit (£19.99) so an overall saving of £50.

Only problem is this offer ends on 24 July as the new catalogue comes out and therefore I dont know whether I should wait...... or just go ahead and buy? I guess the offer might change (different game perhaps?) but is it likely to come down in price?

what should I do???

If you already have the money, go ahead and buy it.

Can you get a regular DS rather than a DSI? The upgrades are mainly a camera, mp3 player and shopping channel.

That's great for kids but most adults have a mobile with an equivalent grade camera, mp3 player and web access built in. We also have a dedicated camera and mp3 player here so can't see any point in upgrading to the DSi.

I'm generalising, it obviously depends on your circumstances but if you just want to play games you can save a huge amount of money by buying a regular DS.
  • Buy it, keep the receipt, resist the urge to open and use it..... :)

If the deal is better, take it back
If not, keep it and use it!

Unfortunately it is excluded from the money back guarantee. Personally I would wait - they might have the voucher offer when they launch the new catalogue, does anyone know about that one?

I am perfectly happy with my DS - never felt the desire for a camera and have an MP3 player anyway!
