They rarely phone me at times so i try not to encourage it by talking to them to much.
Im just worried as we are thinking about moving out and dont want to come stuck with it.
Everything i own is in my girlfriends name brought on her card apart from my clothes, and we live in my brothers house, so they wouldnt have any luck with bailifs.
They seem to just treaten to take it to court if i dont contact them to arrange payments but then they dissapear for a while. Then they resend me a letter for a full settlement, sometimes makes me wounder if they actually have the signed documents?
They have treatened a ccj once.
Im worried they will clamp down as soon as i move out and it will make us skint if i do have to end up paying it back.
I got the ccj so long ago the problem is i was 18 and i just used to throw everything away so i have no documents on this atall!
I might just wait it out till 6 years and see what happens its to close to do anything, The thing is if Barcleys helped me in the first place i wouldnt be in this mess and they would have all their money back my now.0 -
I think you might be right about bms not knowing about the ccj.0

Hello Doug
This is called an attachment of earnings and the court can direct your employer to deduct a set amount from each pay packet before paying you your wages - some info on this link

I would write to them immediately, expressing you desire to pay back the loan. Confirm the amount in writing. Attach your SOA and offer what you can reasonably afford...LBM - 30/07/09

Send your SOA to them with an offer of what you can realistically afford (dont take the !!!! with your offer, just be reasonable) and you will have to come up with a figure your both happy with.LBM - 30/07/09
